We've seen them all - "Make $300 today with nothing but your opinion!" Or "Make $3,000+ per month completing surveys!" What follows is generally "Get access to this list of companies today for only $39.95!" Do you see anything wrong here?

First of all, I'd say less than 5% of people who are in business of taking surveys for cash make $3,000+ per month (this is just based on my opinion. Could be more, could be less). Secondly, do you see what is tied with those claims? You got it - a FEE!

There are several of companies similar to the one described above. They generally list all survey companies in a database and charge you a nominal fee to access that database, and they should, because they did all of the work of looking up those companies for you. The thing some people forget is that not only do they earn money from the fee you pay, but they also earn commissions for referring you to many of the sites they have listed. The other drawback is that most of the survey companies listed are for specific demographics and geographic locations, which could be good or bad for you. So really, are these companies scams? Not entirely, but by putting in some legwork, you can find all of these companies (and then some) on your own, for FREE!

How do you find companies out there that are legitimate? Easy - Go to your favorite search engine and start tinkering around. Use key phrases, such as "free paid surveys" or "paid surveys online for free". I guarantee that you will find several websites out there listing several companies that you can begin to earn money from immediately. Not only that, but once you begin to find certain companies out there that are popular, begin to search those specific companies to make sure that they are legitimate and payout users on time. There's nothing worse than completing surveys for a fly-by-night company that doesn't follow through their end of the deal.
