Answer: They all describe the same thing - a Data Link layer address. The terms "physical address" and "hardware address" refer to the fact that MAC addresses are physically burned into the network hardware, in this case the Network Interface Card (NIC).

CCNP Certification / BCMSN Exam:

The full command to disable a switch port's ability to transmit DTP frames is ____________.

Answer: switchport nonegotiate.

CCNP Certification / ISCW Exam:

Briefly describe a "DDoS" attack.

Answer: A Distributed Denial-Of-Service attack is a typical DoS attack, but one that is carried out by a large number of attackers rather than a single host.

CCNP Certification / ONT Exam:

A router is configured for DiffServ. Which of the following values can the router consider when performing QoS?

A. IP Prec

B. CoS marking

C. incoming interface

D. DSCP

Answer: A, C, D. Routers will not use CoS values.
